The Media Line Press and Policy Student Program is an innovative opportunity for students to globalize their educational experience by connecting to an active news bureau located in what is arguably the world’s most contentious region, studying journalism and public policy under the mentorship of veteran journalists, while earning academic credit or pursuing independent study.

Felice Friedson, founder of The Media Line and Nadia Al-Sakkaf, member of the Board of Directors of The Yemen Times and former Minister of Communications of Yemen, have joined forces to create programs which will train women in the Middle East in media; and give voice to the stories about women in business, human rights, politics, education, press freedom.

Established in 2005, The Mideast Press Club is dedicated to breaking down barriers to understanding between Israeli and Palestinian journalists, fostering professional cooperation and collaboration and ultimately enhancing the quality of coverage of Israel and the Middle East.
