A recent opinion poll shows that 94% of Palestinians reject the peace plan that was recently unveiled by US President Donald Trump, with fully 61% believing there will be a return to protracted violence in response.
The Media Line spoke with Dr. Khalil Shikaki, whose Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research conducted the poll. He elaborated on the rejection of the plan as well as two other key findings: a decline in those favoring the two-state approach to peace, and a decline in support for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
