Health pass required for entrance to public venues in France

People in France who want to visit public venues including restaurants and bars or to board trains and planes will be required to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative coronavirus test by way of a health pass, according to a bill passed early Monday by the country’s parliament. The legislation will also mandate vaccination for all health workers. France already requires venues gathering more than 50 people, including movie theaters and pools, to use a health pass entrance scheme. The health pass will go into effect for all adults on August 1 and will apply to 12 and over as of September 30.
