Australia began its campaign to vaccinate its citizens against the coronavirus. Prime Minister Scott Morrison and 84-year-old World War II survivor Jane Malysiak were injected with the vaccine on Sunday at a health clinic in Sydney. Other Australians vaccinated on Sunday include some elderly citizens, as well as the staff of an aged care facility and front-line nurses. Some 16 vaccine hubs throughout Australia will offer the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine beginning on Monday. Australia already has 10 million doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine as well as 53.8 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine on hand to inoculate its 25 million citizens.
