Bahrain approves third dose of Sputnik V vaccine

Bahrain has approved a third dose of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. It is the first time that a booster shot has been approved for the Russian vaccince. The third shot was approved for use on all adults over the age of 18, at least six months after receiving a second dose of the vaccine. Bahrain also hjas approved a third booster shot of the Pfizer vaccine. About 76% of adults in Bahrain have been vaccinated against hte coronavirus, Reuters reported.
