Canada opening up to visits from vaccinated Americans
Canada will open its border for visits by Americans who are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus after a 16-month ban, the Canadian government announced Monday. US citizens and permanent residents of the US who are vaccinated at least 14 days before crossing the border will be allowed in to Canada without a required quarantine. Most non-essential travel bnetween the United States and Canada was halted back in March 2020. Canada will open up to vaccinated visitors from other countries on September 7. The United States has not announced that the more is reciprocal.
