Iran logs record number of new cases in 24-hour period
Iran logged more than 30,000 new cases of the coronavirus in a 24-hour period, the most it ever recorded in one day. The 24-hour record of 31,814 new cases of the coronavirus brings the country’s total number of infections to more than 3.7 million cases. More than 89,000 people in Iran have died with the coronavirus.
