People infected with the coronavirus who are without symptoms will no longer be required to isolate in South Africa. And those with symptoms will have an isolation period reduced by three days to seven days. The decisions were taken on Monday during a special Cabinet meeting. The amendments come as the country is exiting its fourth wave of the coronavirus. The cabinet also decided to return to daily in-person learning in primary, secondary and special schools.
