Israel on Sunday began vaccinating some of the 600,000 children aged 12-15 who are now eligible to receive a vaccine against the coronavirus. Thousands of children reportedly have appointments to receive a shot in the coming days. Vaccinating children is not a requirement in Israel, only something that is advised and optional.
