Israel’s parliament allows release of identity of unvaccinated
Israel’s parliament passed legislation that would allow the Health Ministry to provide municipalities with information about which residents have not been vaccinated against the coronavirus. The legislation passed on its third reading in the Knesset on Wednesday afternoon. The legislation allows the Health Ministry to provide the information to municipalities and the Education Ministry for three months. The information can only be used to encourage residents to get vaccinated, according to the new law. Critics said that the legislation violates citizens’ privacy.
