Japan to lift coronavirus state of emergency after 6 months
Japan will lift its state of emergency in place due to the coronavirus for the first time in more than six months as the number of new cases of COVD-19 continue to decline. Coronavirus emergency measures will be lifted in all Japanese regions, Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said Tuesday. The state of emergency has been in place since April. It is set to expire at the end of the month.
