Kuwait announced that it will close its land and sea border crossings as it works to control the spread of the coronavirus. The crossings will be closed beginning on Wednesday. Citizens and their domestic workers will be allowed to return through the crossings; parents and children of citizens also are exempt from the entry ban. Non-citizens have been barred from entering Kuwait since Saturday and all returning citizens are required to quarantine upon arrival.
