Kuwait is imposing new restrictions to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Kuwait’s Center for Government Communication announced on Monday that Kuwait will suspend all social events in closed areas from January 9 to February 28. In addition, beginning on Tuesday, all visotrs must provide a negative PCR test taken up to 72 ours before their flight’s departure time in order to enter the country. Kuwait’s Cabinet made the new decisions during its weekly meeting; the Cabinet will conitnue to follow developments in the epidemiological situation throughout the country and reevaluate the restrictions.
