Most pregnant women hospitalized with COVID were unvaccinated

Some 93% of pregnant women hospitalized with COVID-19 were unvaccinated, according to a newly published non-peer-reviewed study. More than 70% of the pregnant women in the study were hospitalized in the third trimester. The study, published in Research Square, looked at 336 hospitalized pregnant women infected with the coronavirus about of a total of 905 pregnant women in the study. Participants in the study also included non-pregnant women between the ages of 15 and 49.
