Oman suspends flights, bans travelers from 10 countries
Oman has suspended flights into the country and is banning travelers from 10 countries in an effort to control the spread of the coronavirus. Travelers from Sudan, Lebanon, South Africa, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Ethiopia will be prohibited from entering Oman for the next two weeks. Citizens, diplomats and health workers and their families are exempt from the ban. The 15-day flight suspension and travel ban will go into effect on Thursday.
