Over 2 billion vaccine shots given worldwide

More than two billion doses of vaccines against the coronavirus have been given worldwide, some six months after the first vaccination campaigns were started, the French news agency AFP reported Thursday. The agency used official sources to arrive at the figure. The vaccine shots have been given in 215 countries and territories. Only six countries have not yet started to vaccinate: North Korea, Haiti, Tanzania, Chad, Burundi and Eritrea.
