The Palestinian Authority has adopted new measures to help prevent the spread of the omicron variant, The New Arab reported. The new measures will include testing visitors entering the West Bank through the Allenby/King Hussein Crossing between the West Bank and Jordan, according to the report. Arrivals from seven African countries classified as red will be required to quarantine for a week. Anyone wishing to enter the Gaza Strip will be required to have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.
