Pope Francis to be inoculated, calls vaccine ‘ethical option’

Pope Francis, head of the Roman Catholic Church, will be vaccinated later this week when the Vatican begins its vaccination program. The 84-year-old pontiff, in an interview with Italian broadcaster Mediaset, confirmed that he will be vaccinated and said that everyone should be vaccinated. It is, he said, an “ethical option because you are playing with your health, life but also with the lives of others.”
