Portugal goes to polls in midst of coronavirus surge

Portugal, in the midst of record-breaking coronavirus infections and deaths, is holding its presidential election Sunday. Current President and former law professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, 72, is regarded as the front-runner among seven candidates.
