Study: MMR vaccine may protect against COVID-19

A new study shows that the vaccine to protect against measles, mumps and rubella may also prevent COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus. Scientists from the University of Georgia found that there was a 29% lower chance of severe COVID-19 among those who had the MMR vaccine in childhood.
