United Airline could fire 600 unvaccinated employees

Some 600 US staff members of United Airline could be fired after failing to get vaccinated against the coronavirus. The company in August was identified as the first US airline to require all domestic employees to be vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be required by Monday. United said it will begin on Tuesday to fire those that decide not to get vaccinated. Some 2,000 United workers requested an exemption on medical or religious grounds. United says it will assess those requests over the next two weeks, while those employees will be put on unpaid leave.
