Vaccinated British health minister tests positive for coronavirus

British Health Minister Sajid Javid has tested positive for the coronavirus. Javid, who tweeted that he has mild symptoms, already had two shots of the AstraZeneca vaccine on March 17 and May 16 when he got sick. He said in a tweet on Saturday, the day he received his positive result, that he is self-isolating with his family. He is required to quarantine for 10 days or until he shows a negative PCR test; his close contacts are also required to quarantine. All coronavirus restrictions are set to be lifted in Britain on Monday, under a plan pressed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Javid called on anyone feeling ill with symptoms of the coronavirus to get tested. Some two-thirds of adults in Britain are fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.
