Dubai eases lockdown restrictions

Dubai on Wednesday allowed cinemas, gyms, educational institutes, sports academies, entertainment attractions and other economic activities to reopen. There are no restrictions on movement from 6 am to 11 pm. Social distancing measures must be observed, the Dubai Media Office said.

Israel opens bars, restaurants, pools

The Israeli cabinet on Tuesday approved the further easing of coronavirus restrictions, including allowing bars, restaurants, swimming pools, public cable cars, boats and tourist attractions to reopen starting Wednesday. The operations are subject to social distancing, wearing masks and other preventive measures.
Israel extends school year until July 13

The Israeli government on Tuesday announced an approximately 700 million shekel ($200 million) plan to extend the school year for kindergartens and elementary schools until July 13. Educational summer camps will start immediately afterward and run until August 6.
Israeli scientists say 2 drugs effective against coronavirus

The Israel Institute for Biological Research on Tuesday said that two drugs designed to treat Gaucher’s disease proved to be effective against coronavirus. The drugs are eliglustat (Cerdelga) and remdesivir.
CDC: Antibody tests wrong half the time
