Neither the Taliban or any other terror group has claimed responsibility for the Saturday attack. The attack came hours before Taliban leaders and United Nations officials met in Qatar to discuss the Afghan peace process.
The attack took place in Afghanistan’s northern province of Badgis, and attacked a vehicle travelling to the city of Qala-e-Naw. The roadside bombs in Afghanistan have attacked Afghan security forces, judges, government officials, civil society activists and journalists in recent months.
