Two minor earthquakes centered in Jordan were felt in northern Israel early Wednesday morning, and on Tuesday evening. The 3.5 and 3.5 magnitude temblors did not cause any damage or injuries. They come after a series of earthquakes in the area in the last month. An early warning system put into place to protect Israelis against such events did not deploy because the earthquakes did not pose a danger to people.

Calls to Israeli emergency services following the quake reported furniture and walls shaking. The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said it received reports of the earthquake from people in Jordan and the Palestinian territories.
