2 Humanitarian Workers Kidnapped in Yemen

Two foreign employees of Doctors Without Borders were kidnapped in Yemen, Reuters is reporting citing local sources. They were kidnapped from the eastern Hadramout governorate, according to the report. The employees were of German and Mexican nationality and were taken from their car by gunmen believed to be linked to al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, Reuters reported citing an unnamed security source.  Al-Qaida operates in south and eastern regions of Yemen.

The organization told Reuters that it has lost contact with some staff in Yemen.
