The first-ever group of Saudi female soldiers completed their training. The women graduated from the Armed Forces Women’s Cadre Training Center on Wednesday, Arab News reported.

Saudi Arabia opened up military recruitment to women in February.
Female recruits will be eligible for military ranks from soldier to sergeant in the Saudi Arabian Army, Royal Saudi Air Defense, Royal Saudi Navy, Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force, and Armed Forces Medical Services.
