Israeli Media and Political Consultant Reuven Adler Dies at 78

Advertising executive and political consultant Reuven Adler, who founded one of Israel’s largest advertising firms and worked as a political advisor to former prime ministers, has died. Adler died on Tuesday at the age of 78.

Adler was the founder with Eyal Chomski of the Adler, Chomski & Warshavsky media consulting firm. He advised political leaders including he late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and President Isaac Herzog. He also advised Ehud Olmert and Tzipi Livni when they headed the Kadima party, and advised Shimon Peres when he put himself in the running to be the Knesset’s choice to serve as Israel’s president.

It was claimed that Adler not only advised on the subjects of media and image-related issues but was also involved in policy and decision-making, according to Haaretz.
