In a recent series of coordinated military operations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has successfully thwarted a Hamas attempt to smuggle weapons into Gaza. The IDF’s Division 98 forces detected Hamas fighters loading an array of armaments onto a truck. Simultaneously, combat soldiers from the IDF’s 7th Brigade executed a raid on Hamas’ operational headquarters in Khan Yunis. The raid resulted in the confiscation of an extensive cache of weapons, including AK-47 rifles, pistols, grenades, and RPG rockets. The IDF forces also discovered diving equipment, suggesting the involvement of Hamas naval brigades in the smuggling operations.
Further IDF actions in Khan Yunis led to the destruction of two significant weapon depots. These operations saw coordinated strikes from both ground forces and aerial support, substantially disrupting Hamas’ military capabilities in the region.
In an alarming discovery, IDF forces found weapons, explosive devices, and ammunition hidden within a child’s bedroom closet inside the Hamas military buildings.
Additionally, in northern Gaza, IDF troops coordinated with the IAF to conduct a precise strike, eliminating five Hamas combatants.
