Russia Expresses Concern Over Potential Involvement of 3rd Party in Israel-Hamas War

As the conflict between Israel and Palestinian terror group Hamas escalates, the Kremlin has voiced “high risk” concerns regarding the involvement of a third party. This comes after the US, under President Joe Biden’s leadership, moved warships closer to Israel in a show of support. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov emphasized the urgency of finding ways to de-escalate the situation and seek a negotiated solution.

Lebanon’s Iran-backed Shiite militant organization, Hizbullah, also fired on Israeli positions, further adding to the concerns of outside involvement in the conflict. Israel has been on high alert for potential attacks from various quarters.

While some Western nations have expressed apprehensions that Iran might become involved in the Hamas offensive against Israel, Tehran has denied any role in the assault. The conflict has already claimed numerous lives and caused significant casualties on both sides.

Efforts are being made to establish communication with the conflicting parties and work towards a peaceful resolution, although the situation remains tense and volatile.
