Turkey captured an unnamed “important” member of the Islamic State group in Syria, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said on Wednesday. According to Soylu, the suspect was being interrogated. Over the past several days, Turkey has said it captured a number of family members of ISIS chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, including his sister, daughter, and one of his wives. Al-Baghdadi blew himself up in a clash with US forces at his house in Idlib province on October 26.
