UAE Ship Sinks in Stormy Weather Off Coast of Iran
A United Arab Emirates ship sank off the coast of southern Iran. The transport vessel carrying cars sank Thursday near Iran’s Assaluyeh port in the Persian Gulf, Reuters reported citing Iran’s official IRNA news agency. The ship’s 30 crew members were set to be rescued by an Iranian ship, according to the report. They were wearing life vests and floating in the stormy water.
