Israel’s tourism industry is booming, with more than 4.2 million people visiting the country since the beginning of the year and an economic boost worth over $6 billion. However, a serious obstacle could hold back this growth. At the Israel Hotel Investment Summit in Tel Aviv, officials and tourism leaders discussed how to address one of the major challenges facing the industry: the lack of affordable hotel rooms.
