Jordan has begun evacuating injured children from Gaza for medical treatment, with the first group of 29 arriving in the country on Tuesday. The evacuation is part of a larger plan to provide care for 2,000 children in Jordanian hospitals, coordinated by the Jordanian Armed Forces, the World Health Organization, and the Health Ministry.
Brig. Gen. Mustafa Al-Hiyari, Military Media Director, announced during a press conference that four of the children were airlifted by helicopters from the Royal Jordanian Air Force via Marka Military Airport, while the remaining 25 were transported in ambulances across the King Hussein Bridge, also known as the Allenby Bridge.

Truth and understanding
The Media Line's intrepid correspondents are in Israel, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Pakistan providing first-person reporting.
They all said they cover it.
We see it.
We report with just one agenda: the truth.

Jordan has played a central role in providing humanitarian assistance since the start of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, facilitating aid deliveries and setting up medical support for Palestinians. The country operates field hospitals in both Gaza and the West Bank, which have treated over 500,000 patients since hostilities began, according to Al-Hiyari.
The Jordanian medical corridor initiative, under which these evacuations are taking place, aims to address the dire medical crisis in Gaza, where hospitals are struggling with severe shortages of supplies, staff, and equipment due to the prolonged fighting. Jordan has repeatedly called for increased humanitarian access and continues to push for expanded relief efforts.
