Seven rockets fired from Syria struck Lebanon on Tuesday wounding at least five people in two separate salvos. All of the incoming weapons landed in the eastern Hermel region, three rockets hitting early in the day and four shortly after 4:00pm. A woman and her five-month old son were among the wounded. Rocket attacks from Syria have increased in frequency in recent days. A Hermel resident was killed by a rocket on Monday.
