Abu Dhabi Police have issued a statement warning against cracking jokes about bombs on aircraft, which Colonel Khamis Mosabah Al Marar, director of ports and airports security for the police, termed “not funny.” Pranks will not be tolerated either, he said. They were sparked by a recent incident in which an angry passenger threatened to blow up a plane because he couldn’t get the seat he wanted.
