Ahmadinejad Predicts U.S. Attacks on Mideast Nations “within 3 Months”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is predicting that the United States will attack two Middle Eastern nations “within three months.” The bellicose Iranian made his latest comments in an interview aired nation-wide on state-run television. He declined to share the source of the information upon which he bases his prediction, nor did he say whether Iran is one of the two countries the U.S. will attack. Ahmadinejad also used the platform to discredit the latest round of sanctions against Iran enacted by the European Union, dismissing the logic behind them as “a failure.” He also reiterated his own latest set of conditions for resuming talks with western nations: that more countries be added to those negotiating; that each country represent its intentions as seeking “friendship or hostility”; and that each country express its view on Israel being permitted to retain its presumed nuclear arsenal.
