Iranian troops shot and killed at least 15 anti-government protestors as demonstrations raged in Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz and Najafabad on Sunday. A nephew of opposition leader Ali-Hossein Mousavi is reported to be among the dead. Reports from Iran indicated that in all, hundreds of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets and fought with government forces. At least 300 arrests were made and a score of injuries were reported. Reports from Iran spoke of attacks on visible symbols of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s rule along with warnings that the incumbent regime will soon fall.
