Outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair will not wait long to move into a new position when he steps down from his nation’s top political spot on Wednesday. The Mideast Quartet – the U.S., U.N., EU and Russia – will be naming Blair as its special envoy, with a particular focus on Palestinian political and economic reform. Israel and the Fatah-side of the Palestinian government support the decision, but Hamas is not happy. Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhmoum said, "Blair has his own black fingerprints in the history of the Palestinian people. He had supported the Zionist occupation’s terrorism and massacres against our people."
