United Nations Human Rights Council investigators looking into the war between Israel and Hamas fought for 50-days last summer are hearing testimony in Amman after being denied entry to the West Bank and the Gaza Strip by Israel. The Israelis believe the result will undoubtedly be a one-sided critique of the Jewish state with findings that its army committed war crimes and have decided not to cooperate with the probe. After being denied entry to the Palestinian areas, the investigators set up shop in Amman where they have been hearing testimony from bereaved families via teleconferencing for the past week. The committee is due to submit its report on March 1, 2015.
