Egypt and the UK have concluded joint training for military police focused on criminal activities, the Egyptian army announced in a statement on Saturday.
During the training, which took place in Egypt, both theoretical and practical activities were conducted, allowing the two sides to exchange specialized expertise, according to Egyptian military spokesman Gharib Abdel-Hafez.

This joint training is part of the Egyptian army’s broader plan to share expertise and enhance cooperation with the armed forces of friendly countries, Abdel-Hafez stated.
Since the beginning of the year, Egypt and the UK have conducted several joint military drills. These have included training on dealing with improvised explosive devices in late January, a counterterrorism drill in mid-February, and a naval-focused exercise earlier this month.
