Fatah Negotiator Says It’s Clear Sailing to Reconciliation and Unity Government

Arriving in the Gaza Strip for what he says will be the last meeting before the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation deal is implemented, Fatah negotiator Azzam Al-Ahmad said there are no “disputes” regarding the formation of a unity government. A list of technocrats who will hold cabinet positions until future elections are held is expected to be released this week. The Palestinian news agency Ma’an reports that factions such as the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine are complaining that they are being left out of the formation of a new government.
