Federal Court Jury Finds Arab Bank Responsible for Palestinian Terror

A jury at Brooklyn’s Federal District Court rendered a landmark decision on Monday when it held Arab Bank responsible for terror attacks in the early 2000s that killed US citizens. Families of victims of bus bombings sued in 2004 claiming that the bank’s officers must have known it was being used to channel funds to Hamas for its “death and dismemberment benefit plan” in which its operatives received money if they were killed or maimed during operations against Israeli targets. The suit was brought pursuant to the Anti-Terrorism Act.
