Feeling Like the Civil War

Those who remember the period of 1975 to 1990 in Lebanon are speaking of similarities between the Lebanese civil war and the current unrest. A report by the Reuters news agency suggests that three consecutive nights of violence in areas that include the place where the civil war commenced are stoking the comparison. Angry demonstrations by young Lebanese against the ruling elite and one of the worst economic crises in Lebanese history have been the order of the day.
