The latest stage of the trial of men charged with the murder of Turkish-Armenian writer Hrant Dink was thrown into chaos when two of the key suspects threw punches at one another in the dock. The pair exchanged punches on two occasions during the eight-day hearing which has once again brought to the fore the controversy surrounding accusations that Turks carried out genocide against Armenians almost 100 years ago. Dink, who was killed two years ago, was an advocate of reconciliation and advancement of minority rights in Turkey. Some 100,000 people attended his funeral.
