Gaza Rocket Fire Resumes; Two Missiles Intercepted by Iron Dome System

Rockets fired from the Gaza Strip continued to fall inside of Israel on Tuesday. The Iron Dome anti-missile system went into operation twice, each time intercepting and deflecting the incoming weapon. The other two rockets exploded harmlessly in open areas near the Israeli community of Netivot. All four were Russian-made Grads. Mortar rounds were added to the mix on Sunday, at least three falling near populated areas but causing no injuries. That followed a brokered cease fire that was to have been in effect as of Saturday night.
