Germany Refuses to Call Back-to-Back Lethal Attacks by Islamic Refugees “Terror”

Germany on Sunday suffered its second of back-to-back lethal attacks on random civilians perpetrated by attackers who emigrated from Islamic nations when a machete-swinging 21-year old Syrian refugee killed a pregnant woman and injured two others in the southern German city of Reutlingen. And like the aftermath of Friday’s massacre of nine shoppers in a Munich mall by a 19-year old member of a family that emigrated from Iran, German officials denied there was no nationalistic motive in either incident, nor was either incident considered to be “terror.” In both cases, the mental capacities of the killers was drawn into question. Regardless of whether the attacks did or did not qualify as “terror,” officials remain concerned that the so-called “lone wolf” killings in which attackers act alone, are spawning what could become a large number of copycat killers – a phenomenon security officials find extremely difficult to counter.
