The United States marks National Women’s Equality Day on Thursday. Saturday is Women’s Day in the United Arab Emirates. Regardless of the day, it’s always a good time to remind ourselves that women’s equality and the empowerment of women are very much unfinished goals, particularly in the Middle East.
