Hizbullah Marks 10 Years Since Israeli Pullout from South Lebanon

Hizbullah on Tuesday celebrated the tenth anniversary of Israel’s pullout from south Lebanon. Delivering the keynote address, Hizbullah chief Sheikh Sayyid Hasan Na’srallah used the occasion to issue threats about a possible new round of hostilities with the Jewish state. Na’srallah reiterated the often-stated assessment that Hizbullah is now stronger and better-armed than it was when it fought Israel in 2006 and threatened to attack ships-at-sea headed toward Israel in any new war. He said his group now has the ability to inflict as much damage as Israel inflicted during the 2006 war.
