Houthis Deny Coalition Report of Naval Attack on the Red Sea

Against the background of the assault believed to have been carried out by Iran against two Japanese ships in the Gulf of Oman, Iranian proxy Houthis are denying reports that an attack on naval vessels in the Red Sea were foiled by the international coalition headed by Saudi Arabia. Calling the report “baseless” and “slander,” the Houthis said it never happened. The coalition spokesman making the accusation, meanwhile, had no information about the alleged attack, including time or place. The Saudis also failed to name a ship.
